El CICM participa en la designación de los Peritos Profesionales en Ingeniería, impulsando la creación en 12 especialidades.

La facultad de designar Peritos Profesionales le fue otorgada a los Colegios de Profesionistas de la República Mexicana y está plasmada en el artículo 50, de la Ley Reglamentaria del Artículo 5° Constitucional, promulgada en el año de 1945, referente al ejercicio de las profesiones en el Distrito Federal, que a la letra dice: “Formar listas de peritos profesionales por especialidad, que serán las únicas que sirvan oficialmente”

Por medio de esta Ley los Colegios PUEDEN CERTIFICAR a Peritos Profesionales.

Los cuales se registran en la DIRECCIÓN GENERAL DE PROFESIONES de la SEP.

Los Colegios de Profesionistas serán entidades privadas de interés público que coadyuvarán en las funciones de mejoramiento.

Que demuestre de manera fehaciente poseer conocimientos teóricos y prácticos sobre alguna especialidad de la ingeniería civil.
Poseer los conocimientos, aptitud técnica, habilidades y destrezas comprobadas, que lo hacen experto en su disciplina.
Tendrá la facultad de intervenir en cualquier asunto público o privado, dictaminado sobre los temas de su especialidad.

Cualidades que deben cumplir los aspirantes para ser certificados como Peritos


Para certificar a un Perito, el CICM requiere que el candidato cumpla con las siguientes cualidades.

-  Conocimientos.
-  Experiencia.
-  Actualización (Educación Continua).
-  Comportamiento ético.

REQUISITOS GENERALES PARA PERITOS PROFESIONALES DE NUEVO INGRESO

-Ser titulado en Ingeniería Civil.
-Presentar Cédula Profesional.
-Haber ejercido la ingeniería en forma continua durante los últimos cinco años como mínimo y las experiencias por especialidad como lo muestra la tabla.
-Ser miembro del CICM donde será evaluado o de otro Colegio de Ingenieros Civiles que tenga Convenio con el CICM.
-Establecer el compromiso de cumplir el Código de Ética del CICM.
-Presentará las evidencias que comprueben las distinciones, participación en asociaciones técnicas, experiencias, publicaciones técnicas, cursos de capacitación, etc.
-Pagar los derechos de Examen al CICM.
