¿QUÉ ES CAPIT DEL CICM?

El Centro de Actualización Profesional e Innovación Tecnológica (CAPIT) se creó oficialmente el 1o de abril de 1981 como una dependencia del Colegio de Ingenieros Civiles de México, A.C.
Su actividad está primordialmente orientada a ofrecer diferentes cursos técnicos y administrativos de actualización profesional a los socios y no socios del CICM de diferentes ramas de la Ingeniería Civil, así como programas de posgrado en formación de diversas especialidades.

Objetivos

Coordinar, promover e impartir seminarios, talleres y cursos de capacitación técnica, informática, administrativa y socio-humanística aplicados a la Ingeniería Civil, con la participación de instituciones de enseñanza superior, Cámaras de Consultoría e Industria de la Construcción, para asociaciones y sociedades técnicas, institutos y centros de investigación, dependencias públicas y privadas, con la finalidad de ofrecer una Actualización Profesional Integral, que vincule los avances informáticos y el desarrollo tecnológico en la práctica profesional de los ingenieros civiles, estableciendo o ratificando los convenios existentes.
Procurar la superación profesional de los Ingenieros Civiles y de otros profesionales, colaborando con empresas e instituciones en la formación de especialistas, administradores y ejecutivos.
Fomentar el intercambio de vivencias y experiencias entre los integrantes del gremio de Ingenieros Civiles y entre éste y otros gremios, tendientes a la transferencia de conocimientos y habilidades.
Apoyar a nivel consultivo de las demás asociaciones similares, así como de organizaciones técnicas, asociaciones de profesionales, colegios, universidades e instituciones y centros de investigación, gobiernos, tanto federales como estatales o municipales y de personas, organismos y organizaciones nacionales o internacionales para la transmisión de información en el campo de su interés.
Otorgar becas a estudiantes y profesionistas distinguidos de Ingeniería Civil para la iniciación o prosecución de estudios en México o en el extranjero, en el campo de la Ingeniería Civil.
Apoyar a toda clase de institutos, centros de enseñanza y de investigación que a juicio del Consejo Directivo sea deseable ayudar para el logro de los objetivos del CAPIT.
Promover y promocionar la actualización y el desarrollo profesional de los ingenieros civiles y de otros profesionales interesados, poniendo especial énfasis en la informática y en la Innovación Tecnológica.

MISIÓN

La celebración de todos los actos y la ejecución de todas las actividades necesarias para la organización e impartición de cursos, seminarios, simposio, sistemas de instrucción personalizada y cualquier otra actividad tendiente a lograr los objetivos anteriores planteados.

VISIÓN

Ser reconocida como la empresa de mayor calidad educativa, tanto a nivel Educación Superior, como en la Educación Continua en el ámbito de la Ingeniería Civil en México, complementada con servicios de manejo de información y difusión y fomento de la innovación tecnológica, con una oferta de servicios acorde con las demandas de nuestro gremio, ampliando la cobertura de los servicios a toda la República Mexicana, Centro y Sudamérica.
